This website is owned by Brand Emotion Corporation Pte Ltd (“Brand Emotion”). By using this Website (“Website”), you indicate your understanding and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions (“T&C”). If you do not agree to any part of these T&C, please do not use this Website and exit any page immediately. Your continued use of the Website constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices and their further amendments or modifications from time to time.
Use of Services
You acknowledge and agree, including but without limitation to the following: (a) to comply with all the notices, guidelines, rules and instructions in relation to the use of the Services as issued by Brand Emotion from time to time, including but not limited to all specific terms and conditions governing use of specific aspects of the Services and any amendments and modifications, operating rules, guidance or policies that may be published from time to time by Brand Emotion; (b) to abide by all applicable laws and regulations in your use of the Services; (c) where it is the case, not to share or disclose your access user name and/or password to any other party; (d) not to impersonate any person or entity or to falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; (e) not to upload or distribute in any way files which you know or have reason to suspect contain viruses, corrupted files or any other similar software, programs, macros or files that may detrimentally interfere with the Services; or to do anything which would create or impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large burden or load on the Website; (f) not to gather and use the information for unsolicited advertising or other unsolicited purposes; (g) not to use the Services for illegal purposes; (h) where it is the case, if you get access to the list of other delegates or in whatever circumstance, not to post or transmit “spam” mail or engage in any unsolicited mass distribution of email or to transmit any unsolicited advertising in any form whatsoever; (i) where it is the case, not to post, promote or transmit information through the Services which may infringe the rights of any third party, whether in statute or at common law, including but is not limited to any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy; (j) copy, modify, create a derivative work of, reverse engineer, reverse assemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of any software that is used in connection with the Services.
At all times, Brand Emotion reserves the right to disclose any information as Brand Emotion deems necessary to satisfy any applicable law, legal process or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in Brand Emotion's sole discretion.
Non-commercial use of the Website
Unless otherwise specified, the Website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works or materials from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from the Website. Without the advance express written permission of Brand Emotion, you may not ‘meta-search' the Website, send, or cause to be sent, any automated queries of any sort to the Website, or use the Services in any commercial manner without our prior express written consent.
Restricted use of the Website
You acknowledge and agree that you will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by the T&C. You may not use the Website in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any website(s), network(s) connected to the Website, or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of any Service. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Website, through hacking, password mining or any other legal or illegal means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the Website.
Access suspension or termination
It is understood and agreed that Brand Emotion reserves the right, in its absolute sole discretion, to restrict, suspend or terminate your access to the Website and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without any prior notice. Upon termination of your Website access, your right to use the Website immediately ceases. Brand Emotion shall have no obligation to maintain any content.
Linking and Links to Third Party Sites
If anyone would like to insert a hyperlink to the Website (or any part thereof) on any of their website(s) or webpage(s) or 'mirror' any material contained on the Website on any other server, prior written permission is required from Brand Emotion.
The Website may contain links to third party websites (“TPS”). The TPS may or may not be under any control of Brand Emotion. Consequently, Brand Emotion cannot accept any responsibility for the contents of or the consequences of accessing any linked website(s), including without limitation any links contained in a TPS, or any changes or updates to a TPS. You acknowledge and agree that Brand Emotion is not responsible for any content or webcasting or any form of transmission received from any TPS nor is Brand Emotion responsible if any TPS is not working appropriately.
Main Event Organiser
Brand Emotion Corporation Pte Ltd ( the owner of this website, defined as “Brand Emotion” or the “Organiser”) is the main organiser of the event(s) promoted herein on this Website. Brand Emotion is a private limited company incorporated under the laws of Singapore and registered with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore under 201705046G.
Tickets & Reservations for Events
Special Conditions related to Tickets
Ticket prices, promotions and discounts may change during a sale period and they may differ from an event to another, as determined in its sole discretion by Brand Emotion. No refunds will be given or claims entertained due to any change in Ticket prices, including but not limited to promotional prices, discounts or whatever special offers, except as mentioned in this T&C.
Tickets must be collected within the time periods stipulated for your chosen delivery method. It is understood that no refunds will be made for no-show or for uncollected tickets. Purchasers who are under 18 years of age should seek parental consent before purchasing any tickets/merchandises from this Website. By transacting this Website, you certify that you are at least 18 years of age and you understand this T& C. Any breach of this T&C may attract the invalidity of your purchase and/or including as a result to have your access denied at the respective event.
Most of our events would be recommended and restricted to participants of at least 18 years old due to the complexity of the matters and the higher level of discussions involved which may be difficult to be understood by some participants, especially young ones. Under special circumstances and at the Brand Emotion’s representatives discretion participants under 18 years may be admitted at an event provided they possess a valid access document either a paid ticket or a free or subsidised ticket and they must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Anyone who fails to comply with these requirements may have their access restricted.
Upon confirmation of your order for Tickets, no refund and/or no exchange of Tickets will be entertained under any circumstances and Tickets are not transferable, except as mentioned in this T&C at the full discretion of Brand Emotion. The resale of Tickets at any price is prohibited. Brand Emotion reserves the right to cancel any Tickets that have been transferred or resold and to deny any such Ticket Holder entry.
The tickets purchased are for your own personal use or that of your business only and may not be re-sold or transferred for commercial gain under any circumstances, including but not limited to use as part of any promotion or competition, without Brand Emotion’s prior written consent Where there has been any re-sale or attempted re-sale of any tickets (or any other breach of this T&C), we reserve the right to cancel the relevant tickets with immediate effect. We also reserve the right to cancel any ticket purchase made by any person or body whom we reasonably believe to be associated with any ticket broker or tout. Brand Emotion will not be responsible for any tickets that are lost or stolen. In special circumstances, Brand Emotion may replace some of these tickets on a case by case situation. The replacement may be subject to a replacement fee.
Brand Emotion may accept a transfer of a ticket bought to a nominated new attendee subject to written notification to us together with the full contact details of your nominated new attendee, no later than 14 working days before the event starts. An administration fee may apply. In some circumstances, Brand Emotion may allow you to transfer the payment in account for the next event. Please contact Brand Emotion to seek help on this.
Tickets are delivered in electronic soft-copy via email to the email address nominated by the purchaser. A printed hard-copy ticket or an electronic soft-copy ticket detailing the reference number can be accepted to register at the event at the Venue. If a purchaser buys several Tickets online, the electronic tickets will not be sent until the purchaser has provided for each beneficiary of a ticket his/her details, such as email address, mobile phone number and mail address. The online form may provide additional fields to input these details if available at the time of purchase. If not available, the details have to be communicated as soon as possible to our contact email/ or using the form in the Website, but not later than the cut of day before the event as per this T&C.
Unless otherwise expressly mentioned, your registration, access pass or ticket does not include any transport coverage, discounts whatsoever, nor any travel expense and that Brand Emotion are under no obligation to refund any of these costs you may occur in order to attend or participate to any of our events. You are also responsible for your own accommodation costs prior, during or after the period of an event. From time to time Brand Emotion may try to negotiate better rates for transport or accommodation for the delegates and/or participants to the events and we will make them available on our Website. However, there is no obligations and no guarantee on the part of Brand Emotion to obtain such discounts or preferential rates.
Specific conditions regarding access and registration to an Event
The T&C do not exclude and only supplements whatever terms and conditions may be imposed by the law, the Venue provider and/or other third parties in relation to an event, including but not limited to the local or governmental authorities, fire brigade, medical authorities or police. Brand Emotion has no control over the maintenance or management of the Venue. Brand Emotion and its management and employees shall not be liable for any death, personal injury, loss or damage however caused while in the Venue nor are they liable for any complaints, claims, refunds, or exchange for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation, those relating to the Services, the Venue, or cancellation or postponement of the Services.
Entry will be refused if Tickets have not been purchased from Brand Emotion Website or from any other authorised points of sale specifically confirmed by Brand Emotion on this Website.
On the day of the event, you will be directed to register and receive an electronic or other special bracelet (“e-bracelet”)which will give you access to the event. The e-bracelet has to be kept all the time while at the venue during the event. Replacement of lost bracelet(s) will be available subject to an administrative fee of S$200.
Participants are encouraged to come earlier in order to secure the best seats as seats are allocated on the first come first served basis, unless otherwise advised by Brand Emotion. It is also recommended to keep the same seat during the sessions of the event. We may provide pencils and paper for your take-away notes, however, participants are encouraged to bring their own tools in this respect.
At the discretion of the Brand Emotion representatives or the Venue operators, latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break during an event as a matter of respect for the speaker(s) and the other participants.
Entry to the Venue will be subject to the Venue’s prevailing terms and conditions of entry. Entry to the Venue may be subject to age restrictions specified in the Website or in the respective publicity for the event(s), and no refunds will be made on the grounds that the Ticket Holder was not aware of such age restrictions.
No photography, audio or video recording is allowed during an event, unless otherwise advised by Brand Emotion. Our events would impose a dressing code to our participants, and depending on the events the code is smart casual or above.
No outside food or drinks will be allowed at the event. Water and coffee/tea will be available during the event. Depending on the length of the event, light food or lunch may be provided to the participants.
Brand Emotion may use the Ticket Holder’s image or likeness in any live or recorded video display, photograph, picture or publicity material or website.
Brand Emotion may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop an event due to adverse situation such as weather, dangerous or terrorism situations, or any other causes beyond his reasonable control.
Infants in arms or children under 3 years old may be admitted to some events in special circumstances and without a ticket if accompanied by a paying adult Ticket Holder. Please contact Brand Emotion if you need more details about this point and whether the event you are planning to attend has any restrictions. Children over 3 years old and up to 16 years old may be admitted to some events with a ticket provided they stay all the time with one of their parents or legal guardians who are paying adults and unless otherwise stated in the specific event’s advertisements or announcement. Discounted tickets may be available to children under 16 years old if accompanied by a paying adult. Please contact Brand Emotion for special conditions.
It is understood and agreed that while the speakers’ presentation at an event is with the consent of Brand Emotion, Brand Emotion assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or appropriateness of any information provided at the event by any speakers and his/her points are their own points, not necessarily endorsed by Brand Emotion. Brand Emotion may also add, withdraw or substitute any speaker(s) and/or vary advertised programmes, service times, seating arrangements and audience capacity without prior notice. Brand Emotion shall notify you in writing of the changes made and you shall not be entitled to any claim for a refund or for any costs, expenses, losses, damages or liabilities which may be incurred or suffered by you as a result of such cancellation or amendment or changes. Brand Emotion shall not be liable for any delay and/or failure to deliver to you any updated information and/or services resulting from your failure to supply a valid email address and the accurate contact details.
Brand Emotion does not accept and would not tolerate harassment of any kind towards our users and event participants in any form and we expect that all participants to conduct themselves in a civilized, professional and appropriate manner. Any participants to any of our events who does not comply with these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event, without a refund, at the discretion of the event organisers. Our volunteers at the Venue have been briefed to immediately address these incidents to the venue co-ordinator, security staff, or Police for their immediate action where required.
Security Checks at the Venue
Before and during the event, while at the Venue, the Ticket Holder agrees to submit to any reasonable search for any prohibited items including but not limited to weapons, controlled, dangerous and illegal substances and recording devices.
Brand Emotion reserves the right to refuse admission (including to demand removal from the premises of an event) of a Ticket Holder to any event for any behaviour, which it deems unacceptable, or for breach of the T&C.
The Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all security risks and danger incidental to an event and a public venue whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual event or your presence at the Venue, including any death, personal injury, loss, damage or liability. Brand Emotion assumes no liability or responsibility for any of the above.
Refunds and Alterations
This part of the T&C is more relevant to the unfortunate situation when an event has to be postponed, cancelled or substitute with another event for whatever reason. Brand Emotion may cancel an event for any reason whatsoever by written notice to you. If any Services, or specifically event(s), are postponed or cancelled by the Organiser, an official notice shall be placed in the media and/or on this Website by Brand Emotion in that respect. In the unlikely situation of cancellation of an event the liability of Brand Emotion is limited to the amount of the paid registration fee that remains after credit card and payment processing fees have been incurred and deducted. However, Brand Emotion assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration, cancellation or postponement of an event. Brand Emotion shall assume no liability whatsoever in the circumstances that an event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous situation, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of an event impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labour strike, extreme weather or other emergency.
You acknowledge that you shall not be entitled to and shall not claim a refund other than by strict compliance with this T&C and at the discretion of Brand Emotion. Brand Emotion shall at its own discretion place notices advising procedures for requesting a refund and the period and time within which the Ticket Holder may request a refund. If a request for a refund is made within 30 days after the date of a notice, no administrative fee will be charged pursuant to such a request.
In any other circumstances, any request from the Ticket Holder for cancellation of the Tickets shall be subject to the sole discretion and approval of Brand Emotion. If the cancellation is successfully approved, Brand Emotion may charge a cancellation fee of twenty percent (20%) of the purchased value of the ticket. However, as a general rule, all purchases of tickets for Brand Emotion events are non-refundable in their entirety, after a 14 day cooling off period or 14 days before the event starts, whichever comes earlier. Any refund processed following the request of a Ticket Holder may be subject to an administrative fee (currently S$15 transaction fee).
Name changes will be permitted free of charge. No name changes will be allowed 10 days prior to the commencement of the event and the ticket price will be forfeited. Please contact Brand Emotion.
Brand Emotion shall have no other liability or obligations for any other costs, expenses, losses, damages or liabilities which may be incurred or suffered by the purchaser or the Ticket Holder as a result of such cancellation.
For the avoidance of doubt, Brand Emotion does accept any refund as a result of your late arrival to, attendance of or withdrawal from, the event. Likewise, if you have secured a complimentary ticket but have already bought a ticket, you are not eligible for a refund.
It acknowledged and agreed that while speakers and topics are confirmed at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond the control of the Organiser may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. As such, Brand Emotion reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary without any liability to you whatsoever. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on our web page as soon as possible.
Consent to record and store your personal data
The user of this Website understands and gives express consent for the mandatory and voluntary data collected from he/she in the course of purchasing and or registering for tickets sold by Brand Emotion (and/or other associated companies as the case may be). The user and/or purchaser and/or Ticket Holder further give their permission for their user account(s) details to be stored by Brand Emotion. It is agreed that Brand Emotion shall be given a reasonable timeframe to remove any personal details at any time that the user and/or Ticket Holder no longer wish them to be stored.
The user of the Website and/or purchaser and/or Ticket Holder acknowledges and accepts that their data will be used for commercial purposes in accordance with this Private Policy and T&C and can be retained and stored for this purpose. Any request for the data to be removed has to be addressed in writing to Brand Emotion at email@example.com. Any requests will be usually processed within a 30-day period.
Consent to participate in online/offline surveys
The user of the Website and/or purchaser and/or Ticket Holder hereby gives consent for Brand Emotion to store any voluntary information provided to Brand Emotion in the course of participating in an online survey from time to time. It is also acknowledged and accepted that the data may be used for commercial purposes in accordance with this T&C and the Private Policy and will be retained and stored for this purpose.
Complementary, subsidised tickets and Consent for processing data
Brand Emotion believes that each of us should have equal opportunities to develop our dreams and ideas. There are also people who can help our event or further events in many ways. We offer regularly free and/or subsidised Tickets to our events from time to time. It is a condition of these promotions that only individuals who meet our requirements gain admission to the event using these type of tickets. These tickets are personal and non-transmissible. Brand Emotion will publish from time to time the criteria and requirements to qualify for such a Ticket. Please contact Brand Emotion directly at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
The user of the Website and/or purchaser and/or Ticket Holder, including the complementary or voluntary ticket holder, hereby gives consent for Brand Emotion to use for the purposes of processing ticket registration, including complementary ticket, the mandatory data and any voluntary data provided when registering a complimentary admission ticket. It acknowledged and accepted that this data can be used at Brand Emotion’s discretion for commercial purposes in accordance with this T&C and the Private Policy and that the data will be retained and stored for this purpose.
At the discretion of Brand Emotion complementary or subsidised tickets may be offered before the event start date. In these instances, if the attendee had not been directly nominated, tickets must be assigned to an attendee within 3 days of the receipt the complementary or subsidised ticket, and all attendee details must be fully complete in the form provided online or by email no later than 14 days before the event starts. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes name, job title, company name and a passport style photo, if applicable. Any ticket reassignment after this date is prohibited.
It expressly understood that any complementary or subsidised tickets cannot be sold or resold as doing so will void the ticket and the Ticket Holder may not be allowed to enter to the event. Our complementary and subsidised ticket offers sometimes include a processing fee. This fee is non-refundable in its entirety. If you have secured a complimentary ticket but have already bought a ticket, you are not eligible for a refund.
This paragraph of the T&C is more relevant to those people who would have agreed to register and act as volunteers to Brand Emotion’s events. Applying and accepting to act as a volunteer implies responsibility, commitment and the volunteer’s consent and confirmation to fully understand and agree to be bound by this T&C in its entirety.
Brand Emotion assumes no obligation and there is no guarantee that a person will be selected to be a volunteer at the event. Brand Emotion would not provide any compensation or refunds for travel, accommodation and other costs the volunteer may incur in relation to the event for which he/she is acting as a volunteer.
Failing to arrive in time for an assigned shift may attract the volunteer’s accreditation to be forfeited and his/her access to the event to be denied unless the volunteer possesses a valid ticket for access and he/she is in compliance with the rest of the T&C. Brand Emotion would not permit any use or consumption of alcohol and/or controlled substances by the volunteers before the event or while on duty.
Any breach of the T&C, particularly of this paragraph may attract the volunteer’s immediate dismissal, removal of his/her accreditation as a volunteer and removal from the event grounds. Serious matters may be referred to the security of the Venue or the police.
If you have been selected to volunteer at the event but have already bought a ticket, you are not eligible for a refund.
Once a person agrees to become a volunteer for Brand Emotion’s events he/she also grants permission to Brand Emotion, or any of its affiliated companies, to use the volunteer’s likeness, picture, name, voice and words in television, radio, film, newspapers, magazines and other media, both during and anytime after the event, and in any form, for marketing, advertising or communicating the purpose of the event(s).
If in the course of, or in relation to, an event a volunteer may have access and/or be entrusted with confidential information, the volunteer shall agree to keep such information in confidence, unless written permission of disclosure is received from Brand Emotion. Nevertheless anything to the contrary in this T&C, a volunteer shall be liable for any expenses incurred by Brand Emotion in connection with the Brand Emotion’s actions to enforce the terms of these T&C against that volunteer.
No Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Services, including the Website and all information, including but not limited to text, graphics and hyperlinks, materials, services and functions contain therein are provided on a “as is” and “as available” basis for your information and personal use and enjoyment only. No warranty of any kind, implied, express, contractual or statutory, including but not limited to any warranties of title, non-infringement of third party rights, merchantability, satisfactory quality, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and freedom from computer virus or other malicious and harmful components, destructive or corrupting code, agent, program or macros, is given in conjunction with the Website, or any information and materials provided at the Website or throughout the events promoted at the Website.
Brand Emotion does not warrant and shall in no event be liable for any damages, loss or expense (including but not limited to direct, indirect, special, circumstantial, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunities, loss of goodwill or cost of cover) arising in any way from or in connection with (a) the accuracy, timeliness, adequacy or completeness of the information, materials, services and/or functions provided at or contained in the Website; (b) the access, use or inability to use and/or access to the Website, the Services and/or any information or any materials on the Website will be uninterrupted, secure or free from errors, defects, mistakes or omissions or that any identified defect will be corrected immediately; (c) that the Website or any information or materials provided therein will meet your requirements or are free from any virus or other malicious, deletions of files, delay in operations or transmission, non-delivery of information, disclosure of communication, destructive or corrupting code, agent, program or macros, any system, server or connection and/or performance failure; (d) any services, products, information, data, software, or other materials obtained, printed or downloaded from Brand Emotion or from any other website or webpage linked to the Website or from any other party referred by the Website; (e) any dispute arising between you and any third party service provider of Website, even if Brand Emotion has been advised of the possibility of such damages, losses, or expenses; and (f) that use of materials displayed on Website will not infringe rights of third parties. This paragraph shall take effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You acknowledge and agree that Brand Emotion (and/or its suppliers, where it may be the case,) shall not be liable and there is no warranty in relation to the security of any information transmitted by or to you using the Website or any other means such as our emails, messages, letters and newsletters or any other sort of communication, announcement or notice, and you hereby accept the risk that any information transmitted or received, as mentioned above, may be accessed, copied, modify, altered, distributed by unauthorized third parties and/or disclosed by Brand Emotion and its shareholders, officers, employees, or agents to third parties purporting to be you or purporting to act under your authority.
It is also agreed that you will not hold Brand Emotion or any of its shareholders, officers, employees, advisers or agents responsible or liable, in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), equity or otherwise, for any such access or disclosure or for any damages, losses, expenses, or costs whatsoever (whether direct or indirect, or whether foreseeable or not) suffered or incurred by you as a result of any such access, use of the Website or disclosure.
You should also understand and agree that some states/jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages and the above limitation may not apply to you. However, if you are dissatisfied with any portion of the Website, or with any of these T & C, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the Website or our Services.
You also specifically agree that Brand Emotion is would not be responsible nor liable for any threatening, defamatory, obscene, offensive or illegal content or conduct of any other party or any infringement of another's rights, including intellectual property rights on this Website or during the provision of the Services or at any event organised by Brand Emotion.
Independent Business decisions
You acknowledge and agree that any purchase, business decisions, financial, legal, personal or medical decisions following an advice received via the Website or your attendance to an event are not influenced by any prior relationship or dealings with Brand Emotion or any of its officers, directors, employees, advisors or representatives. Should you enter into a contractual relationship with any speaker(s) and/or any Brand Emotion representative(s) at/or subsequent to an event, you do that at your own risk, and acknowledge that Brand Emotion has neither responsibility for, nor any liability with regards to, any contracts or relationships entered into between yourself and the respective speaker(s) and/or Brand Emotion’s representative(s).
You acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to release and waive any and all claims and/or liabilities against Brand Emotion arising from or in connection with your use of the Website or the Services, including to accept full responsibility of your purchase, participation and/or the outcome of any decisions made after attending any of Brand Emotion events. You also agree to defend and fully indemnify Brand Emotion, its shareholders, officers, employees and advisors or representatives against all actions, claims, obligations, liabilities or potential liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees arising (i) from your use and access to the Website or the Services; (ii) from your breach of the provisions of this T&C herein; and/or (iii) in connection with your use of the Website brought against Brand Emotion by another user, third party providers or any third party, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.

The participants, including Ticket Holders shall not be entitled to claim for a refund or for any costs, expenses, losses, damages or liabilities which may be incurred or suffered by them as a result of such unfortunate postponement.
